Congratulations on college acceptance to Zachary Bryce Lim Otis College of Art and Design 2021 and Presidential Scholarship $23,000/year $92,000/4 years. Additional accepted colleges:
Zachary Bryce has been a dedicated WCAAD student attending weekly portfolio classes and taking life drawing courses improving the quality and fundamentals while learning animation. Always critical putting time and effort to dedicate time for himself to improve his work while his work ethic and designs have taken him to higher standards. He has been a model student for others to follow and was always an example for other students to follow. When challenged, he always found ways to work through, despite setbacks. His open-mindedness, inquisitive, and receptiveness to instruction have been some of the main contributing factors of his success. Bryce started out knowing minor aspects of animation, and within a short time, I have witnessed a budding directed artist, as his work exhibits creativity and genuine love for his interest. It speaks to his character and determination, as to, how he was able to develop strong portfolio in only a year while maintaining his grades (4.5) taking IAP's and finding time to volunteer. Notable achievements outside the class have been preparing and donating COVID-19 care packages to clients and families at community mental health agency at Clara Baldwin Stocker Home skilled nursing facility. He has achieved piano lessons 10 grade piano level and an illustrator for his school newspaper. In his spare time, Bryce dedicated time to gardening and was part of a Clean-Up Team for Canaan United Evangelical Church. Bryce has also worked on other classes at Art Center College of Design taking Animation Class and Chinese Language School. These achievements demonstrate the embodiment of the spirit of excellence, dedication, and a hardworking innovative individual. I have utter faith that he will be a shining credit to Otis College of Art and Design. (By Omar Gallegos, WCAAD Vice Principal and Director of Education)
