Three students from West California Academy of Art and Design (WCAAD) have received the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

The WCAAD Senior Art Show: "Metamorphosis" was successfully held on Nov.19, 2023. More than 100 people attended the exhibition.  WCAAD is now a certified program to give this award to its students. The honor also extends to parents as well such as the life time achievement award. Led by the AmeriCorps and managed in partnership with Points of Light, the PVSA program allows Certifying Organizations like (West California Academy of Art and Design) to recognize their most exceptional volunteers. The PVSA has continued under each administration, honoring the volunteers who are using their time and talents to solve some of the toughest challenges facing our nation.  The reason to take a life drawing class is to improve your ability to draw not just people, but overall. Many US colleges consider life drawings from a model /observational, among the first and most important components in students’ portfolios.  Time: Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, 1:00pm-4:00pm Venue: West California Academy of Art and Design, 420 S Pine Street, San Gabriel, CA91776  We will have our first senior show that our students have organized before applications. Come celebrate them as they would love your presence. We will have work for sale to help with their college and future endeavors.
