An art Contest featuring “Stop Hate, Equal Opportunities, Ethnic Harmony, and Cultural Inclusion”, organized by California State Library, UNE News Express, KJC International Inc., concluded with 29 winners selected. Some of the student winners from West California Academy of Art and Design shared their creative ideas at the award ceremony, demonstrating their understanding of social justice and racial equity and equality through art works. Yoyo Ren won the LA County Board of Supervisors, 1st District Award

West California Academy of Art and Design (WCAAD) students won the 22nd Senate District Award, California State Treasurer Award, Temple City Station Sheriff Award and Rosemead Chamber of Commerce Award in the 2023-24 Rosemead Fitness Day and Health Fair Children’s Drawing Contest with themes of “Healthy Living,” “Protect the Environment” and “Water-in-Motion.”  Great News！Students of Walnut now can take the prestigious West California Academy of Art and Design (WASC Accredited) art classes!  Congratulations to WCAAD student Meredith Luo, 9 years old, for winning the 1st Place award of the LA County level contest 3th-5th Group at the 44th Los Angeles Bookmark Contest! She also won the 1st Place award of the Temple City Library 3th-5th Group.  |
