Congratulations to Esther Yahan Yang, age 20, on her acceptance to Art Center!
Esther’s journey started a year ago where she came to West California Academy of Art and Design to transfer in a Graphic Design concentration to her dream school, Art Center. She enrolled in the Portfolio, Digital and Life Drawing classes to submit a stronger art and design portfolio admission work. Her educational experience included other prep schools’, however something was severely missing and Esther knew it. The work lacked the quality West California Academy of Art and Design would soon offer her.
Esther was determined to gain a better understanding on her field and submit a superb and persuasive portfolio for competitive schools in her admission process.
Knowing she had to produce all new work, Esther was up to the challenge attending classes almost every day to meet her goal.
Ultimately through professional guidance, her creativity, work ethic, and commitment pushed her to produce a vast amount of work that demonstrated refinement and sophistication.
Though, Esther is waiting on other schools she already has sent her commitment letter of acceptance to Art Center.
“Do your best and regret nothing.” We wish her well and know that she will have a stronger better future.
