When she was assigned a fundamental project, she was very meticulous on finishing with the up most care and quality. The creative and competitive culture is what she desires, and she eagerly desires to be with a student body who share the same passion as her. Gianna’s portfolio artwork Gianna’s portfolio artwork Even though her chosen major is Architecture, she has really tested the waters exploring many kinds of media; and in depth! She will always impress her audience with well researched projects. Gianna’s portfolio artwork Gianna’s portfolio artwork Gianna is the ideal student doing more than what she was asked to do. Her skills, talent, and work ethic are what motivates her peers. I really count on Gianna to set the bar for other students as she always stands above the rest. The process and inspirations are taking from daily planned and unplanned incidents and observations. Chance and the unexpected is also a process that can be used in formulating initial ideas into quick sketch analysis. She plays with reconstructing and deconstructing forms until configurations are set for optimal design construction. These creations from plates are then vectored and abstracted for the next step. Gianna creates a stable skeleton construct then the facade is creating. Finally, lighting is used for creating a mood in the overall structure. Testing and solving initial design problems, and of course, details. These ideas can demonstrate functionality, interaction, aesthetics and sound designs and other essentials. Gianna’s portfolio artwork Gianna’s portfolio artwork Despite Gianna being reserved and quiet, she is a great listener and sympathetic to others work and opinions. If I call on her in group critiques, she can discern students’ needs with constructive criticism. I find her to always be independent and able to solve problems on her own. She is idealistic and can realize her concepts into sophisticated artworks. Gianna’s portfolio artwork Gianna’s portfolio artwork At her high school, Gianna’s school activities that she is passion it about are Mental Health Committee and the All About Sleep Club. Joining and founding these 2 groups at her school led her to make contributions to her campus as she is very dedicated. Outside school she has volunteered at the Huntington Library in Pasadena. She helps with activities with visitors preparing material and representing the institute. She has been participating in the library for 9th,10th, and 11th grade totaling 165.5 hrs. At Oak Jr. High she is tutoring younger student’ assisting in ELD classes. During the lock down she helped tutor with homework.
