Congratulations to Fiona Pan on her acceptance to USC Marshall school of business Entrepreneurship and Psychology! Additional schools and scholarships include:
Fiona was an inquisitive and engaged student who worked and finished her portfolio at West California Academy of Art and Design in two years. Her time here was spent working on fundamentals skills and creating project-based assignments. Her overall portfolio showcased a balance of Fine Art and Design. Selected work included her painting on the idea of “what is beauty” and the negative influence on gender. There is a critical questioning of the roles we play in a systematic culture to appease through appearance. Whether we are complacent or spectators. Another noted work is a multi-design project designing a space suit as we are on the verge of colonizing Mars. This suit included a language translator, magnetic attachments built in microphones and sensory detection. The suit concept regulates the body and is able to with stand high temperatures. A 3D hologram can be projected from a utility the belt. Piezoelectrical boots charges the suit while walking or sitting to power the suit constantly. We are excited to see what the future will bring to Fiona as she continues her studies with a strong perspective with art and design. Art production can play a crucial role into the admissions process, and though the experienced team will explain the admission process from the perspectives of a highly selective university, and various institutes for a better understanding of career options and education.
