Eight WCAAD Students Won 2020-21 LA Web Drawing Contest Awards

​    Eight students from West California Academy of Art and Design won awards at the 2020-21 LA Web Children’s Drawing Contest.  4-year-old Isabella Liu won the 2nd Place of the Age Group 3-5; 5-year-old Evan Wang won the 3rd Place of the Age Group 3-5; 6 Students won the Excellence Award：Kate Xiao，Owen Xiao，Verna Liu，Jordan Li，Avril Deng，Caden Vuong.

    The annual contest has been held for 23 years, and the theme for the 2020-21 contest is: My Family & Home.
Art develops children’s creativity and prepares children for the future. Participating in art contests can bring positive influence on children’s learning life: they learn to work under pressure and time, putting their best effort in order to make one of the kind of art work. As they strive for excellence in art, they usually try their best in everything they do. No need to mention that winning contest can give students a great sense of accomplishment and confidence.

    WCAAD children’s curriculum emphasizes specialized and well-rounded courses that build core skills, while pushing children to create distinctive, exceptional and meaningful work. The art training program is leading in preparing youths to seek and transform, both as artists and creative individuals.

   Currently in addition to Online Art Classes, WCAAD also open for In-Person Classes.   Students who choose to take in-person classes must wear masks.
