Chinese American Construction Professionals Present Recognition Certificate to Ms. Lei Wang

​Chinese American Construction Professionals (CACP) recognized Ms. Lei Wang for her 50-year contribution to children’s art education on Jan 27, 2023.

​Establishedin1982, CACP has been serving the community and nurturing the construction professionals for almost 40 years. Its members are from various design, construction, and development disciplines including Architecture, Contracting, Engineering, Inspections, Finance, Material Supply, Real Estate, and Utilities. Moreover, CACP sponsored architecture themed art contests during the past years, giving students opportunity to expand their imagination and creativity on human’s future buildings and environment.

​“Architecture Is Art,”Ms. Lei Wang said,  “many of our graduates have majored in architecture at their dream colleges, such as Cornell University and Pratt Institute. The art training during their childhood is one of the most important factors for their success.”

​Ms. Lei Wang is the Founder of West California Academy of Art and Design (WCAAD). Led by Ms. Wang for almost 30 years, WCAAD has been transforming students into confident, creative artists and designers who have gone on to have successful careers in their chosen field.  With Wang’s continuous efforts, WCAAD has officially become a WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) accredited school since July 6, 2017.

​Elected officials and community leaders recognized Ms. Lei Wang for her achievement in art education at the ceremony of the 50th Anniversary of Principal Ms. Lei Wang’s Career in Art Education was held on Jan 8, 2023.
