​Class time: Saturday 10:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm（Saturday 8:30am-10:30am and 3:30pm-5:30pm open upon enrollment）

Established in 1996, West California Academy of Art and Design（WCAAD） strives to offer only the highest level of art education for the community. Since July 6th, 2017, West California Academy of Art and Design has officially become the Supplementary Education Center/Program Fully Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

​Based in San Gabriel, California, West California Academy of Art and Design is widely recognized as one of the most professional children’s and youth art education institutions across the Southern California. The Academy also provides enrichment online art program that is as rigorous and nurturing as in-person classes. 

​The academy's students produce exceptional art for their age and it has achieved a reputation as “the children’s art school with most art contest winners,” as well as students achieving 100% admittance to their perspective colleges.

WCAAD’s art curriculum emphasizes specialized and well-rounded courses that build core skills, while pushing children to create distinctive, exceptional and meaningful work. The instructors employ an inspirational method of teaching by arranging the curriculum according to the phases of children’s psychological development and is infused with current National Art Standards. A carefully calibrated mix of rigorous courses are designed to help individuals of all skills levels get the most of their art education; not only improving their abilities, creativity, but also their intellectual performance in other subjects. Whether ​students simply have an interest in art, or would like to learn more about art careers, our unique art curriculum provides a breadth of knowledge necessary for facing a shifting future and setting them up for a continuous growth.
