Jenny was a student at WCAAD for two years. I would describe her as imaginative with an adventurous spirit and mobility. She is passionate about Fashion Design and will go to all ends to complete any assignment while making it enjoyable for audiences. She loves History, Drama, Art, and Literature, and incorporates these inspirational elements with research and knowledge in her work. Most notably, I have witnessed a work ethic that is insatiable with high motivation and a desire become an influential person. Jenny is driven, and she is ready to share this vision through her fashion sensibilities and designs. She adapts easily with projects, environments, and new challenges with ease. She has searched for knowledge and seeks the highest level of educational caliber. This Summer I also wrote a letter for Parsons summer program which she attended that solidified her decision to go to the east coast for her continuing education. Jenny's thirst for Art began in middle school, as she started to model. She was able to walk in New York Fashion Week for two major brands: one of them D 'Marsh. And placed finished second at the IMTA competition. Jenny participated in the Sino-American Film Festival as Miss Manners, for the Yuta Xiang - ytxl 918 brand catwalk. As she modeled, she deconstructed the production, there was an interested in various aspects, triggering a pursuit in a fashion career and all its counterparts. Jenny can stimulate others to produce work that is experimental as they see her as someone who is not afraid to use space in our studio space. She utilizes material and fuses fine art elements into her work. I rely on her to move classmates creatively. Other activities include educating children in the arts, joining the Girl Scouts, performing in talent shows, and a student representative with her school to help students identify, solve problems, and aid younger classmates to achieve their most authentic voice. She is the President of the school's Chinese culture club and lead everyone to promote Chinese culture. Lastly Jenny has had many Art shows, Fashion shows, and created a positive atmosphere in our academy. She won the 2022 President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award. Jenny tells me, that her career plan is to pursue a master's degree in fashion/business and, to accumulate experience and start her own brand. She wants to be an expert in her field and wants to understand all connecting facets with the Fashion industry. Jenny’s long-term goal is to grow with a company where she can continue to learn, take on additional responsibilities and ultimately contribute to the fashion world. She would love to work at Yves Saint Laurent. Jenny is open to experience a wider range of knowledge to help and influence making friends with like-minded people where she can use the skills, knowledge, and fundamentally solve problems.
